The 16th memorial of the first civilian Governor of Rivers State, Chief (Senator) Melford Okilo, has been scheduled to be held on Friday, 16th August 2024.
Organisers say the memorial, which begins at 11 am at the famous Hotel Presidential in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, will also witness the launching of the Okilo Endowment Fund.
H.E Chief Rufus Ada George, former Executive Governor of Rivers State, will be Chairman of the Occasion.
It was gathered that the event is being sponsored by the Rivers State Government and supported by the Niger Delta Development Commission, NDDC.
