Sports development: NGO donates trophies for pupils in Secondary schools in Kolokuma-Opokuma

It was medals galore for this year’s Inter-House Sports season courtesy of World Youth Centre Incorporated an indigenous Non Governmental Organisation (N.G.O.) founded by Comrade Preye J. Ketebu-Brown who is also the Secretary of the Board-of-Trustees.

Noted that Saturday 26th March 2022 was the turn of Community Secondary School (CSS) Sabagreia which featured CSS Okoloba. The 1st, 2nd and 3rd winners of every game received olympic styled medals for their exceptional performance. In addition to their medals Master Solomon Bright won the Honourable Gesi Isowo Trophy for overall best athlete of CSS Okoloba , while Master Woyingimi Timipa won the Chief Imomoleigha Trophy for overall best athlete of CSS Sabagreia both trophies also donated by the World Youth Centre Incorporated in honour of the personalities who are also distinguished role models in both Communities.
Royal Father of the Day who was also Chairman of the Occasion, HRH (Dr.) Bokumo Orukari (Kala the 10th) Amananaowei of Sabagreia and the Principal of CSS Sabagreia, Mrs. Ikiyei P. Charity amongst other dignitaries present at the occasion were full of praise for the noble gesture by World Youth Centre Incorporated and enjoined other public spirited individuals and N.G.O.s to emulate the World Youth Centre Incorporated for rapid development of School Sports and Education generally in Bayelsa State.
It was revealed that so far the N.G.O. has covered all public Secondary Schools Inter-House Sports in Kolokuma/Opokuma LGA, but for Schools in Odi and Opokuma scheduled for 31st March 2022.
