Tarabina Visits Nembe–Brass Road Project, Urges Commitment to Timely Delivery
The Chairman of the Bayelsa State Directorate for Project Monitoring and Evaluation Bayelsa state Hon. Engr. Ebiye Tarabina, has stressed that projects being executed by the Prosperity Government are legacy initiatives that must be completed and delivered to the people as scheduled.
Engr. Tarabina stated this during an inspection of the ongoing Nembe–Brass Road project at the Fifth Bridge section.
Engr. Engr Ebiye Tarabina, said the directorate would continue to ensure strict compliance with approved standards and specifications, noting that the projects are critical to the state’s present and future development.
The chairman warned against any actions by contractors or host communities capable of undermining the government’s objectives, stressing that anyone found sabotaging the successful execution of the project would face appropriate sanctions.
Responding, the site supervisor, Engr. Emeka, said significant progress had been recorded, particularly on the Fifth Bridge, in line with the project’s implementation schedule.
He disclosed that the Fourth Bridge has been completed, while piling and abutment works on the Fifth Bridge have also been completed, paving the way for the next phase of construction.
