Akwa ibom Governor, Pastor Umo Eno has perform beyond expectation in the area of tourism that would attract tourist, Local and foreign investors to invest in the state tourism Sector.
The chairman Nigerian bar Association Uyo branch, barr Ime Umoafia made this known in an interview with journalists shortly after the tourism retreat and roundtable conference in uyo.
The chairman said before becoming a governor, he has been a stakeholder in the sector and understand his onions pull his weight on tourism to boost the state economy.
He said despite being a stakeholder in the sector brought Is world of
experience construct and dualise roads linking across the tourism site especially when visitors came into the state there are hotel which are towards international standard, we have the worship center and the ongoing international conference center.
Barr Ime Umoafia use the medium said that one of the ways prompting tourism in Nigeria is to establish a strong regulative framework that will identify areas of tourism in Nigeria were investors would take advantage
He commended the tourism committee retreat conference to make sure the sector don’t experience decline but towards their hard work investors in the sector would take advantage and do business in the country. Were Nigeria would be in the map of tourism. He said with what the governor is doing in the sector would promote the state across the globe while government should also partner with the private sector because they can do it alone.
