The Executive Secretary, NCDMB, Engr. Simbi Kesiye Wabote (FNSE, FIPS) was conferred with a Doctor of Science (Honoris causa) by the Imo State University, Owerri, Nigeria at its 8th Convocation ceremony earlier this afternoon.
Represented by the Director of Planning, Research & Statistics, NCDMB, Mr. Patrick Obah, at the convocation attended by many distinguished dignitaries including the Imo State Governor, Sen. Hope Uzodimma, fellow recipients, former Governor of Anambra State H.E, Dame (Dr.) Viegy Ngozi Etieba, CON, GMD/CEO of @ubagroup , Chief Oliver Chukwudum Alawuba and the Chairman of Kotec Group od companies, Chief Chika Emenike, among others, Engr Wabote described the honorary doctorate bestowed on him as a boost toworks.
