A’ Ibom govt to provide affordable housing for citizens investors, says Gov Eno

Akwa Ibom Government would do their best to provide affordable, decent, and comfortable housing for all citizens and investors in Akwa Ibom State.
Akwa Ibom Governor, Pastor Umo Eno stated this during the foundation laying ceremony for Ewet Luxury Gardens in Uruan Local Government Area
Governor Eno said his administration’s commitment to providing affordable, decent, and comfortable housing for all citizens and investors. He noted that the Ewet Luxury Gardens is part of a larger state initiative that includes compassionate housing and rural community development projects.
According to him, the Ewet Luxury Gardens is a prototype of the Dakkada Luxury Estate and will be a smart estate that caters to both local residents and investors from the diaspora. The project is a business venture with units available for outright purchase and is expected to be completed within eight months.
The state boss said his administration have the ability to listen to his people, understanding their needs, and working tirelessly to address them. His leadership style is inclusive, compassionate, and visionary, making him a leader who truly cares about the welfare of his people.
He said the Ewet Luxury Garden is designed to cater to high net worth individuals, while the Grace Estate is aimed at low-income earners. The government has also flagged off the second phase of the ARISE Compassionate Homes, aimed at building one compassionate home in each of the wards across the State.
Governor Eno’s commitment to community development is evident in his approach to the Ewet Luxury Gardens project. He engaged with the community, understood their needs, and worked tirelessly to address them. This is a shining example of a leader who prioritizes the needs of his people.
The Commissioner for Housing, Otuekong Raphael Bassey, presented an overview of the project, highlighting its features, including 32 residential plots, outdoor recreational facilities, walk paths, a multipurpose hall, office facilities, parking spaces, security house, and other facilities.
The Managing Director of AKICORP, Pastor Imoabasi Jacob, hailed Governor Umo Eno for the project initiative, which will meet housing needs and serve as a revenue-spinning investment for the state. This is a resounding endorsement of the Governor’s vision and leadership.
