Akwa Ibom Government has been advised to create out modalities through the arise agenda for seminar educating students about the effects and danger of drug abuse not to jeopardized their education.
The Founder and Chairman of Everyday Foods Group, Dr. Magnus Nnaemeka Chukwukezie gave the advice while speaking with Journalist shortly after the 5th Annual State Scientific Conference of Association of Community Pharmacists of Nigeria Akwa Ibom State Branch in Uyo.
Dr. Magnus said Educating them at these age would be a great advantage on them distance themselves from such act even when they are encouraged, promote such character from their colleague would resulted to failure because they have been properly educated understanding the consequence.
According to him, these would discouraged those involved, planning would desist from associating with these habit acknowledging their lives are on the line or would experience serious health challenge in Future while some may face mental problem becoming Lunatics and especially nuisance in the society.
He used the medium said when recognized in empowering Community Pharmacist extent beyond the expansion of professional responsibilities, It is about equipping Pharmacists with the skill, resources recognition and opportunity necessary to make meaningful contribution to health care system and national development.
The Clan heath of Ndiya Ikono Local Government Area, his Highness Etebom Bassey Okon Bassey Commended the Association of Community Pharmacist of Nigeria, Akwa Ibom State for their Focus and Vision they have Educating the students to know about effect, Danger of Drugs abuse by organizing debates on the topic would assist them to become good leaders in future not to become nuisance in the society.
The Royal Father said it’s a way to tackle the menace in the Society that would surely reduce the menace credibly while called on parents to also play their role for the betterment of their society.
A Public Analyst, Mr. Peter Udoh said if government would introduce seminar for student then we should witness and experience better society in future which would kick against kidnapping, bandits and terrorist respectively.
