Ibom Food progressive multi-purpose co-operative society has commended Akwa Ibom governor , Pastor Umo Eno for his focus, vision to improve the state agricultural sector especially witnessing, experiencing Boomper Food sufficient across the state.
The president, Mr Emem Ekereke made the commendation shortly after the thanksgiving service of Mr Ekerette Ituen held at Apostolic church, Udok Atai in Ikono Local Government Area.
The president said the governor programme would also address needs for fertilizer, seeds, Agro processing, productivity enhancement and livelihood support through a world bank assorted project implemented by the federal ministry of agricultural and rural development while believe government would not disappoint them.
According to him, despite his good vision in the agricultural sector, the group has called on the government to assist them with grants for their members to improve their farms without compromise while it would lift the co-operative society.
Mr Emem explain that if government assist them with grants they would use it judiciously, understanding in time pass they have involved in subsistence farming they have been focus on productivity, diversification, commercialization without any disappointment over their handwork to achieve their goals.
He believe their request would be granted to assist them actualise their vision of transforming the co-operative and ginger for boomper foods sufficiency across the state.
In the same vain, saying the group love among members cannot fail but continue to wax stronger no matter the circumstances sympathise with their members Mrs Happiness Ekerette their Public Relation Officer husband accident came and rejoice with her in thanking God for their survival. Mr and Mrs Ekerette Ituen thanked God for lives as they worshipped God with their whole heart and believe God cannot fail them.
The group sympathise with Mr Ekerette Ituen over his mysterious accident, saying God would continue to guide and strengthen him while such circumstances cannot repeat itself again. They would continue to pray for the family not to experience such terrible circumstances again and the thanksgiving would continue to pave way for success, blessings, spiritual upliftment which the devil and his associates would continue to fail over his family lives.
