The People Redemption Party (PRP) candidate for Bayelsa State House of Assembly Constituency 1, Evangelist Dr. Hon. Bannerman Timitula Embiowei, has received an endorsement from members of the Amassoma community following a consultation visit to the community in Port Harcourt last Sunday.

The visit witnessed an emotional moment when the mother of the outgoing lawmaker representing the constituency, Hon. Bony Ayah, offered prayers for God to make Embiowei his successor in the State House of Assembly.

The mother, who expressed her desire for the best leadership for Constituency 1, prayed that God would grant Embiowei the opportunity to represent the people, a gesture that added a remarkable dimension to the consultation visit. Her prayer was particularly significant given her relationship with the outgoing lawmaker, as she expressed support for a successor she believes could serve the interests of the constituency.

The consultation visit also provided an opportunity for Embiowei to engage with members of the Amassoma community, interact with stakeholders and share his aspirations for the constituency. The community’s reported endorsement of the PRP candidate underscored the importance of grassroots consultations and community support in the contest for the Assembly seat.

The visit and the mother’s prayer have added a new dimension to Embiowei’s campaign as he seeks to succeed Hon. Bony Ayah in representing Constituency 1 in the Bayelsa State House of Assembly.
