Former Minister of State Agriculture and Rural Development, Senator Heineken Lokpobiri has condemned the murder of APC Stalwart, Sunday Frank Oputu by unknown Gunmen at his Bay Bridge residence in Yenagoa,the Bayelsa capital.
Sen. Lokpobiri, who described the gory killing of Sunday Frank Oputu as one too many, adding the killing was barbaric, primitive and an act of cowardice.
He also described the late Frank Oputu as a man known for peace and was shocked to hear that his life was cut short by yet to be identified assailants under questionable circumstances
While he comisserate with the family of the deceased, the people of Igbomotoru Community of Bomo Clan and the entire Southern Ijaw Local Government Area for this irreparable loss, Lokpobiri called on the security agencies to carry out thorough investigation an bring the perpetrators to justice.
