He urged the federal government of Nigeria, the Bayelsa State Government and the international community to end the sad tales before the communities are rendered desolate.

He said: ” the negative impact of the foregoing unwarranted and unjustified invasion and attack on the inhabitants of our communities is better imagined as they now live in a state of nervousness and fear, making it difficult for the people of these communities to live a normal pre-invasion and attack life.

” These military men and boys under the control of Darlon Security Nigeria Limited on the 2nd of July, 2022 went into houses of indigenes and inhabitants and ransacked same in search of God knows what. They have no regard for the Almighty God in that they ransacked the house of a resident Clergyman, the Pastor of the Baptist Church.

” The desecration got to its peak when they broke into the Baptist Church Building, harassed the Pastor, tumble the Alter upside down and desecrated the entire house of God in the name of searching for firearms which were non existent as they found none”, the statement added.
