Bayelsa House of Assembly candidate vows to change representation paradigm
A frontline House of Assembly candidate for Sagbama Constituency 3 contesting under the Action People’s Party, APP, Hon. Aboro Emiede Cyprian has vowed to put the interest and wellbeing of his constituent above personal gains.
Aboro slammed past assembly members from the Constituency for making the people go through pains and hardship by denying them of the dividends of democracy.
Aboro who made the pledge in an exclusive interview with our correspondent in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State said he intend to inject news ways of representation by changing the narrative, adding that he will make sacrifices by deploying public funds for the public good.
He also pledged to invest public funds in the development of the grassroots, whom he noted volunteeringlly gave their mandate to occupy the position.
He promised to make empowerment of his Constituency top on his agenda by creating a farm settlement per ward to ensure that their is food sufficiency, and also said that grants will be given to people interested in business to start business.
The Agbere born politician emphasized on the need to prioritize education by giving scholarships, assisting pupils with learning materials and encouraging the teachers to put in their best.
Aboro while calling on the constituent to go and collect their PVCs and elect leaders of their choice, urged them not to sell their votes but rather vote the right candidate who can represent their interest.
