A final year student has allegedly been Killed Over 150 Naira in Amassoma in the Southern Ijaw area of Bayelsa State.
The deceased was said to be a
student of the Niger Delta University (NDU), whose name was given as Francis Palowei.
The incident was said to have happened at a place called sand dump, a popular spot where students often go and socialize.
Details are still sketchy but according to eyewitnesses, some youths allegedly demanded 150 Naira from and when he refused, he was attacked
Francis Palowei, investigations revealed hails from Obrigbene town in Ekeremor Local Government Area.
The State Police Command through the Public Relations Officer Muhammad said investigations are going to unravel the cause of the incident.
