Leaders and stakeholders of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) in Bayelsa West on Saturday held a strategic meeting to review the recent court judgment affecting the party, assuring members that the ruling would not derail its political activities or weaken its resolve.
The meeting was chaired by the party’s House of Representatives candidate for the Sagbama/Ekeremor Federal Constituency, High Chief Hon. Selekebina Saboh. It was attended by members of the party’s working committee, elders, and other key stakeholders from across the senatorial district.
Addressing party members, High Chief Saboh urged supporters to remain calm, united, and focused, stressing that there was no cause for panic over the court judgment. He expressed confidence in the party’s legal process and encouraged members to remain committed to the ideals and objectives of the NDC.
He stated that the party remains strong, focused, and determined to pursue its political vision despite the recent legal setback.
