The governorship candidate of the Action Democratic Party (ADP) in Delta State, Prince Emmanuel Ogba, has debunked rumours of his alleged stepping down for the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party Hon Sheriff n Oborevwori
It was reported that governorship candidates of some political parties recently surrendered their ambitions to support the PDP’s candidate, noting that their decision was borne of the massive achievements of the Dr Ifeanyi Okowa led administration.
But in a phone interview with one of our correspondents, Prince Ogba said he has not jettisoned his ambition to rule Delta State if he secures the mandate of the people.
He used the medium to call on the electorates to come out enmass and vote for him and all ADP Assembly candidates, stressing that the PDP is afraid of the imminent loss in this weekend’s election to deceive the gullible people because of their failure to deliver the dividends of democracy.
“I have not stepped down for anyone. I am not party to those who said they have stepped down. Am very much in the race and by God’s grace and the people’s wish I will be elected governor of Delta State.
“I urge my supporters to come out on Saturday to vote for me and all our candidates and not to be afraid of intimidation by the failed government of Okowa. I assure them that better days is on the offing. “.. .
