Governor of Bayelsa State, Senator Douye Diri, today ended his annual leave and will resume his official duties immediately.
A statement by his spokesperson, Mr. Daniel Alabrah, on Monday, informed that the Bayelsa Governor, who went on a three-week leave on November 25, will resume on Tuesday, December 17, 2024.
Governor Diri expressed appreciation to people of the state for their prayers and continuous support for his administration while he was on vacation.
He said the administration remains steadfast, united and committed to its social contract with the people and will continue to deliver projects and policies that positively impact on the lives of all inhabitants of Bayelsa.
