The Governor of Delta State, Ifeanyi Okowa, on Tuesday, sent a supplementary appropriation bill of N71 billion to the state House of Assembly for legislative approval with Eleven days left for him to handover to his successor .
The supplementary appropriation bill, read by the Deputy Speaker, Ochor Ochor, who chaired the plenary, had the sum of N5.6 billion for recurrent expenditure, N65.5 billion for capital expenditure for the 2023.
Okowa in the letter said there has been actual and projected increase in some fiscal receipts.

Okowa said he would appreciate if the bill was given immediate necessary approval.
