The leadership of Gbarain Youths Federation (GYF) has lauded Governor Douye Diri for the completion of an architectural masterpiece as Headquarters of
the State Universal Basic Education Board, (SUBEB) at Okolobiri.

This was disclosed to the press by the President of the Youth group, Comr. Pere Orufa and his Secretary, Comr. Idinebimo Mission, in an interview with journalists, shortly after an inspection tour of facilities at the SUBEB headquarters in Okolobiri.

The Youth leaders lauded Governor Diri for listening to the people’s yearnings.

According to them: this is a clear testament of the prosperity administration’s strive at taking development to the grassroots.”

The youth leaders say the project, when completed,shall boost education in Gbarain clan, and add to the serene environment aimed at bringing lasting peace and development to the oil and gas rich zone.

The Youth leaders further lauded the prosperity administration led by Governor Douye Diri for initiating moves to complete the Polaku-Sabagriea bridge abandoned by NDDC for over a decade.

The youth body is excited that when the road is completed, it will connect the twin Local Governments of Yenagoa and Kolokuma/Opokuma for easy access to promote economic activities in that axis of the state and beyond.

The GYF leaders also expresses profound appreciation to Senator Douye Diri and his Deputy, Sen. Lawrence Erudjakpo for supporting the election of the PDP National Financial Secretary, Hon. Woyengikuro Daniel, and appointing illustrious sons and daughters from the kingdom into positions of trust.

Ayiba Duba, Commissioner for Information, Orientation and Strategy; Dr. Ebiwari Wariowei – Focal Person SDGs Office; Mr. Preye Wariowei – Acting General Manager, State Newspaper Corporation; Hon. Deo Kalsuo, Member, Bayelsa State Post Primary School Board; Hon. Bina Okpofabiri, Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Protocol; Mr. Doubara Atasi, Senior Special Assistant on Media Relations (Deputy Governor’s Office) and a host of others.
