Inspection : Tarabina Commends Contractors For professionalism , quality of Work

The Chairman of the Directorate for Project Monitoring and Evaluation, Engr. Ebiye Tarabina has lauded contractors in the state for professionalism and quality of work.

Engr. Tarabina made the commendation during a project inspection tour to some completed internal roads projects in Yenagoa metropolis on Friday 22nd April, 2022.

The chairman gave the contractors a pat on their back for executing the vision of the present administration led by Senator Douye Diri, the Governor of the state.

Engr. Tarabina also lauded the contractors for the timely completion of the projects, noting that the prosperity administration was committed and determined to the well-being of the people and the infrastructural development of the state.

He said the internal roads will impact positively on the socioeconomic status of the people by providing access to residents, places of learning, worship centres , market places and lots more.

The project monitoring boss however admonished contractors to not to engage in any form of sharp practices in the construction of their contract job for the common good of Bayelsans.

He noted that the present administration places high premium on standards and quality , urged all contractors handling Government projects to always abide by the terms of their contractual agreements.

He also advised community leaders to protect Government facilities at their domain to attract more projects from the Government.

Projects inspected includes: the completed pavilion at Odi,  the completed perimeter fence and one storey block at the NYSC orientation Camp, Boro Town,  the ongoing motor park project at Ofoni, the completed Government house extension road project, Onopa, the completed Doncont street,  Amarata.

Others are the completed Amalala close, off Bakery road, Azikoro, the completed Egili road, Yenizue Epie, the completed Rev. Asingba road behind First bank, Yenizue  Gene,  the completed Okutukutu School road,  and the completed Akali road, Etegwe.

The chairman was accompanied by the Secretary, Engr. Sampson Igodo,  members of the board, heads of department, engineers and amongst others.
