As the ongoing fight against oil theft in Niger Delta continues, the Chief Security Officer of Engenni kingdom comrade Isaac Thompson has commended security operatives in the on going exercise to wipe out illegal bunkering in JK 4 community.
He made this known in a statement to newsmen in Yenagoa Bayelsa State capital.
He noted that the activities of oil illegal bunkering have caused environmental degradation in the kingdom, adding that it has affected economic activities of farmers in the area.
Thompson pledged to fish out sponsors and dealers who buy from the oil thieves where by
encouraging their activities because, according to him “if you don’t buy, they will be discouraged from such act”. That in his watch as CSO of Engenni kingdom he would do his best to ensure a raise in oil production as he would be setting up a team to handle such responsibilities.
He thanked Commander of the Joint Task Force JTF Operation Delta Safe for his effort and pledge mamaxim cooperation.
