It is not too late to step down – opposition to Diri
says victory in court, not victory in governance.
There is growing frustration amongst many Bayelsans as the state leadership under the current administration seem to be suffering from a lack of focus.
This lack of focus was identified early by all owing to the fact that Diri is simply a beneficiary of the benevolence of the gods and the judiciary and not a force strong enough to win any election based on his popularity.
According to a Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress Juliius Randle
“We raised this alarm but they projected the narrative of the administration being young and yet evolving was used to excuse them.
“Time has now clearly proven that it is a natural charactistics of the prosperity government to be directionless and the resultant growing frustration and resentment being expressed by Bayelsans especially the aged and vulnerable, is a testament to this.
“There’s frustration across board, amongst the young,old, men, women, the political, apolitical, students, traders, indigenes and even none indigenes.
“This lack of focus, direction and inability of the current administration to show leadership is quite unforunate.
‘The outright neglect of the people especially the elderly and vulnerable in the society who have been sidelined all these years, without any form of relief to ameliorate their sufferings especially at a time where the economy is in no way favourable, is quite unwelcome and unacceptable.
“The least effort expected is for some form of palliatives from government for these identified set of persons but while some other governors are in their domains working night and day and seeking creative means of alleviating the sufferings of its people, ours is busy globe trotting. He is not accessible for and has failed to state his whereabout nor his mission. This is quite unfortunate.
“The question Bayelsans are asking is why did the former president Dr. Goodluck Jonathan and Senator Dickson serve us with such a government. Every Bayelsan is swallowing this bitter pill as we all are recipients of the outcome of such terrible decision.
Oh God almighty, come and deliver Bayelsans from this misfortune.”
