Chairman of Ijaw Youth Council (IYC) Central Zone, Clever Inodu on Tuesday, condemned in totality the gruesome killing of an innocent male farmer, at Zarama community of Yenagoa LGA by suspected herders.
Reports had it that the deceased who hails from Zarama had been carrying out his farming activities until his untimely death yesterday, whose body was found this morning.
According to him “expressed displeasure at these reoccurrences despite the state government’s efforts in combating insecurity in the state. These killings are not only painful but unacceptable to Ijaw people.
H:erdsmen who are still in the habit of straying into Bayelsa territory should be warned that there is a law banning open grazing in the state which must be obeyed by all.
