Information reaching our news desk from the National headquarters of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has it that the member representing Sagbama/Ekeremor Federal Constituency, Chief Fred Agbedi has picked his lnterest and Nomination forms for the Bayelsa West Senatorial District primary.
Agbedi, who hails from Ekeremor is now set to combat the incumbent and former Governor of Bayelsa state, Senator Seriake Dickson from Sagbama.
The aspiration of Senator Dickson to stay in the Red chamber beyond 2023 is said to be brewing crisis in Bayelsa West following an existing zoning arrangement, which according to stakeholders of the zone now favours Ekeremor to produce the next Senator for the sake of equity and fairness.
Sagbama, on the other hand, is to produce the next House of Representatives member.
