LP rejects governorship poll result in bayelsa

The labour party’s governorship candidate in the November 11 polls has rejected the outcome of the polls alleging massive vote buying.

Mr. Udengs Eradiri spoke to journalists in yenegoa, the state capital.

According to him the elections was marred by massive vote. It was buying a bazar stressing that whereby the highest carried the day. He regreted that the people were influence by the money rather than their consciences.

Udengs Eradiri further noted that the ruling party used poverty as a weapon to call the voters to voe for them.

The Ekpetiama born politician however stressed that he would not be discouraged but the participation offered him the opportunity to appreciate the  problems of the  people.
