Movers FC of Otuasega have confirmed their place in the quarterfinals of the 2024/2025 Bayelsa State Football Association League following a hard-fought 2-1 victory over Victory Vault FC of Opume. The win, secured at the Imiringi Township Stadium, was inspired by a brilliant brace from Miracle Nathaniel, further solidifying Movers FC’s dominance in Group D.

Elsewhere, Famgbe FC of Famgbe kept their hopes alive with a slim 2-1 win over Kingdom Stars FA in a Group A clash at the Bishop Dimeari Grammar School (BDGS) centre. The victory marked a strong comeback for Famgbe FC after their previous matchday two loss to Foundation FC of Yenagoa.

Also in Group A, Creek FC thrashed Betters FC 4-0 to maintain their grip on the top spot, showcasing their attacking prowess once more.

At the Kpansia centre in Group C, Rich Destiny FC put up a commanding performance, defeating NYSC FC 3-1 to stay in contention. In the same group, Genesis FC edged Stardom Light FC 3-2 in a tightly contested encounter, while Seaside FC continued their fine form with a 2-1 win over AJ Inter Soccer Academy to retain first place in the group.

In Group B, defending champions Advance Dreams FA were held to a 1-1 draw by a resilient Bayelsa FA side. Ayibaiye Timothy earned the Man of the Match honours for his outstanding contribution. Hope Alive FC of Otuoke saw their quarterfinal hopes dashed after a 3-1 defeat to Emeyal 2 United. Light FC of Otuoke kept their chances alive with a narrow 1-0 win over Metros, intensifying the battle for second place in Group D.
