The Executive Secretary, NCDMB, Engr. Simbi Wabote (FNSE) earlier today had a meeting with Samsung Heavy Industries Nigeria at the Board’s Headquarters Building, Ox-Bow lake, Yenagoa, Bayelsa State.
The Samsung delegation was led by its MD, Jongseok Kim and had alongside Bobin Park, Project Development Mgt Manager, David Inglis, GM Business Development and Adejoh Awulu – NC Manager.
According to Jongseok Kim, MD, Samsung Heavy Industries Nigeria, the visit was aimed at exploring means of expanding collaboration with the Board on the NLNG Train7 project and to seek ways to increase galvanizing capacities as Samsung is always in search of new opportunities.
The Executive Secretary in his remarks appreciated Samsung for visiting the Board and also congratulated them for amicably resolving their disputes with Ladol. “NCDMB did everything it could under my leadership to resolve the issue.”
