Engr. Simbi Kesiye Wabote FNSE, Executive Secretary NCDMB, received the Industry-Wide Implementation Committee Report for In-Country Manufacturing of Pumps, Valves, Flanges, Gaskets, Bolts and Nuts led by the Chairman of the committee, Cyprian Ojum, at the Board’s liaison office, Abuja.
In a bid to increase Nigerian Content in the oil and gas industry to 70% by 2027 and retain $14B in-country, this committee was set up by Engr. @wabote_simbi to visit, access, evaluate and document Local Manufacturing capacities required for oil and gas operations in the country.
Engr. Wabote thanked the Chairman and the entire committee for their diligent, sense of duty and responsibility to the country by creating jobs and building capacity in the Board’s journey to achieving 70% Nigerian Content by 2027.
