NCDMB PICTORIALS: Distribution of Relief Materials to flood impacted Citizenry in Yenagoa Local Government Area
On Monday, 21st November, 2022, the Board returned to Biseni Town, Yenagoa LGA – in continuation of the distribution of Relief Materials to flood impacted Citizenry in different LGAs of Bayelsa State – to distribute Palliatives.
The Executive Secretary, NCDMB, Engr. Simbi Kesiye Wabote (FNSE, FIPS) was ably represented by Mr. Embellakpo Abidde, Supervisor, FLD, NCDMB who was accompanied by other staff of the Board.
Biseni Community was the very first place we attempted visiting on Tuesday, November 8, 2022- the Day 1 of this Relief Material Distribution Exercise. However, we were unable to access the town due to the flooding there even at that time. Today’s visit is a return journey.
The elated leadership and People of Biseni community thanked the Board for the effort we have made in reaching them and providing them with Relief Materials after the flood that submerged the entire community.
