NCDMB PICTORIALS: Unveiling of Solewant Group’s new products & solutions
The Executive Secretary, NCDMB, Engr. Simbi Kesiye Wabote (FNSE, FIPS) represented by the Director, Monitoring & Evaluation, NCDMB, Mr Tunde Adelana was at the unveiling of Solewant Group’s new products & solutions in Onne, Port Harcourt, Rivers State.
The unveiled products by Solewant Group include Solewant/Scopex Academy, SSPC and Paint Products, Solewant made in Nigeria Steel Pipes.
The Group CEO Solewant, Mr Solomon Ewanehi in his remarks noted that Solewant hopes to provide end to end pipeline manufacturing, coating and protection, needed in the Oil and Gas and Hydro industry. He commended NCDMB for being a part of Solewant’s success story thus far.
The Executive Secretary, NCDMB, Engr. Simbi Wabote (FNSE, FIPS) speaking through Mr Adelana Director, Monitoring & Evaluation, commended the leadership of Solewant Group for taking the initiative to establish Pipe milling, fabrication & pipe coating solutions for the Oil & Gas & water industries in Nigeria about 22 years ago.
Engr. Simbi used the opportunity to implore all stakeholders present, particularly Solewant Group, to continue to position themselves for these opportunities by investing in capabilities and forming tangible technical alliances.
He also advised Operators to make it a habit of taking cognizance of new capabilities in-country by sending out your contracting and procurement teams to visit these facilities to keep themselves abreast of latest developments in local content.
In addition, He re-assured Solewant and other stakeholders in the industry that so long they continue to be an example of what can be accomplished by committed indigenous firms, NCDMB (and the Federal Government) will continue to identify with your growth and implement policies that protect your investments
