Niger Delta University (NDU), has taken another significant step towards strengthening maritime education and capacity development through ongoing partnership discussions with Flotila Academy of Marine Technology Limited.
Led by the Vice Chancellor, Professor Allen A. Agih, the meeting focused on finalizing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) that will promote collaborative programme delivery, practical maritime training, research, and professional development in marine and maritime-related disciplines.
The proposed partnership is expected to provide students with industry relevant skills, enhance research and innovation, and contribute to the development of a highly skilled workforce for Nigeria’s maritime sector.
Both institutions reaffirmed their commitment to building a sustainable partnership that will advance education, industry collaboration, and regional development.
