Nigerians groan under harsh economy, says Institute Registrar

The country is facing myriads of which require collaboration of all sundry for solution where citizens would not experience hardship again.

The registrar of Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators of Nigeria, Mr. Aladapo Babatunde Okuneye made this known in his address during the Institute Annual Lecture in Uyo.

The registrar said towards the development the country is facing infrastructural, economical and security problem which we need development in terms of Electricity, Production and generation, Education , Good transportation system, Food security and Social welfare.

According to him, it is ideal that we explore how the pubic private partnership can help to mitigate some of our problem and actual growth and sustaining our development with partnership both sector, the country stands on gain for beyond what would accrued if each sector had worked alone.

The Occasion Chairman, Dr. Emmanuel Abraham commended the institute for always maintaining international best practice over the passion they have for their profession despitethe uphill task should not relent to achieve the institute goals.

He said their contribution would also assist move not to experience the hardship again as professionals towards their champion of good governance while used every opportunity to advocate for properly sound administration and good government on best practice.

Earlier, the deputy governor, Senator Akon Eyakenyi was represented by her Permanent Secretary said their conference came at the right time when the country is experiencing hard time and believetheir deliberation would assist to show some of the problem to achieve solution.
