Northern, Southern Youth leaders commend Tinubu for re-appointing Kyari, Akinyelure

A coalition of Northern and Southern Youth leaders under the aegis of the Coalition of Northern and Southern Youth Leaders Forum, CNSLF, have commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu over re-appointment of the Group Chief Executive Officer, GCEO, Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited, NNPCL, Engr Mele Kyari, and Chief Pius Akinyelure, as the Chairman of the board of the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited, respectively.

According to the statement signed by the Convener of the group, Ex-militant leader, Comrade EMMANUEL FIAWEI PATHFINDER, based on the Renewed Hope Agenda of Mr president, it was a very wise and detribalized with the appointments of Mele Kyari and Chief Pius Akinyelure, as they both represented the North and the South of Nigeria in the nation’s oil and gas company.

The ex militant leader, Comrade Pathfinder expressed optimism that both of them being experienced persons in the oil and gas industry will further take Africa’s number one oil giant to a new height according to global standards in no distant time.

Meanwhile, the Coalition said Tinubu’s reappointment of Kyari is a testament to the significant achievements being recorded so far, and by improving the nation’s daily crude oil production output from 1.2m to now 1.7m barrels, and for the laudable giant stride in the war against oil theft in the country, and it also coupled with the unanimous decision taken by the leadership of the Senate and the House of Representatives last week to pass a vote of confidence on the NNPCL boss at the national assembly chamber.

According to the statement, the nod to Kyari’s reappointment by Mr president is not farfetched, and it is basically attributed to Kyari’s outstanding and painstaking excellent performance demonstrated by courageously repositioned the nation’s oil and gas sector to an enviable height with ease of doing business policies being implemented by the GMD.

They also added that by this reaffirmation of Kyari’s reappointment as GCEO of the nation oil company for another fresh tenure in office has already vindicated “Mele Kyari of wrong doing and proven that all the frivolous baseless false allegations purportedly leveled against him were are mere tissues of lies from the pit of hell, and cheap blackmail, which were sponsored by some corrupt personalities in collaboration with their oil theft cabals who are dancing naked in market square.

The Coalition is made up of Northern and Southern Youth Leaders Forum (NSYLF); Inclusive of Arewa Youth Movement; Yoruba Youths Ethnic Movement For Good Governance; Middle Belt Youth Movement, Niger Delta Women for Peace and Good Governance; Igbo Youth Movement For Peace; Ibibio/Efik Youths World Wide; Niger Delta Advocate For Peace and Good Governance, and inclusive of Niger Delta Ex-militant Movement for Peace.

He said: “When we received the news about the reappointment of the Group Chief Executive Officer, GCEO, of Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited, NNPCL, Engr. Mele Kolo Kyari, we were all in great joy and massively appreciate the uncommon wise wisdom of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for this reappointment, because Mr President understands that you don’t change your winning team just because of mere concocted cheap blackmail of some oil thieves and vandals who does not mean well for our country.

“We thank Mr President immensely for not listening to this evil men who are enemies of progress that dose not mean well for the good of these nation, and for making this reappointment of Engr Mele Kyari a reality is a very right step in the right direction that, and is good for the economic stability of the nation.

“For Mr President believing in Engr Kyari is a way of saying, Mr Mele Kyari you have done a good job and you have to go and continue to finish the great job you have started and sustain the gains you have made for us and the country, and we are proud of you and will support all you do for our country as far as the nation’s oil and gas industry is concerned.

“We also believe that the gainsayers and the naysayers like SERAP, And other disgruntled faceless civil society groups who are being sponsored to bring down the good work of Engr Mele Kyari to the mud will now all put to shame, because most of their sponsors who are oil thieves and vandals will be arrested and out to jail as soon as possible;

Pathfinder also added that Kyari’s “reappointment is well deserved because he is a round peg in a round hole, his expertise experience, courage and capacity to reposition, reorganize and transform the nation’s oil and gas industry to an enviable height will be consolidated as the daily production of crude oil will surpass the 2 million barrels projected;

Pathfinder also commended President Bola Tinubu over the appointment of Chief Pius Akinyelure, as the Chairman of the board of the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited is in right direction and a sign of relief, beacon of hope and a good omen for the oil and gas sector because he is a round peg in a square hole.
