Nov 11: Group Counteracts APC D’Gov Candidate’s Aide On Alleged 2027 Guber Agenda
The Publicity Secretary, of the Dudafa Support Group For Diri/Law23, Mr Ebisuobo Okpeke, has reacted to an alleged fake news circulating in the social media which according to him was posted by one Bodmas Kemepadei known to be one of the media aides of the Bayelsa State APC’s Deputy Governorship candidate, Jushua MacIver on plans of 2027 Governorship ticket pair of Chief (Hon) Meitema Obordor and Hon Waripamo-owei Dudafa.
Okpeke who described the news as not just fake, dumbfounded and watery to be called propaganda, called on the public and indeed Bayelsans to disregard it and see it as an acceptence of defeat by the APC’s Gubernatorial Candidates ahead of November 11th Elections.
He noted that it was an indication of loss of contents and peddling of slippery-eye imaginations which are aimed at causing distraction in the PDP and its Governorship Candidate, Senator Douye Diri, noting however that the incumbent Governor is well accepted by Bayelsans in their majority and that the electorates are ready to display it in solidarity at the polls.
The group in a statement made available to Newsmen said: “It’s generally believed that Gov Diri/Law ’23 Continuity agenda is already coasting to victory.
“It’s loss imagination and paltry of lies from a sinking candidate and his supporters. Ordinarily, I wouldn’t have given such fame to an ill-baked and cooked-up lie from the opposition media, but it became necessary to do so in order to keep the records straight.
“It’s even shocking to see how the said Bodmas Kemepadei while battling to market candidates rejected by Bayelsans across all LGAs and including members of his party, the APC in the state forgot that we’re in the 2023 elections where the Governor and other parties are campaigning to Bayelsans, and will now be talking about 2027 which is still very far from the political metrics of the state.
“This alone, shows how myopic and defeated the Sylva/MacIver candidacy is, as they have nothing significant to campaign with, rather than lies and sickly thought imaginations which are not even worthy to distract the PDP or the Director General of the Campaigns Hon. Mitema Obordor, and Hon. Dr Waripamo-owei Dudafa.
“Note: That statement is a mere figment of imaginations from the peddlers and a baseless story from the pit of hell”.
