A socio-political group, Friends of Senator Douye Diri (FSDD), has described the Chief Press Secretary to the Bayelsa State Governor, Mr. Daniel Alabrah, as a thoroughbred media professional.
President of the FSDD, Prince Bodi Arerebo, in a congratulatory message, said the award bestowed on Alabrah at the 2023 Bayelsa Media Awards on Thursday, was a well-deserved honour.
Prince Bodi stated that the Outstanding Media Personality Award was a testimony to Alabrah’s professionalism, hard work, commitment and dedication.
He expressed the hope that he will continue with his good work in projecting not only the governor’s image but also that of Bayelsa State and its people.
He also extolled the virtues of the governor’s spokesperson, saying he exhibits ptofessionalism and dexterity in churning out information on behalf of the governor and the government of Bayelsa State.
Prince Bodi noted that a key aspect of good governance is information management and dissemination, an area the governor’s CPS and the media team have done very well in projecting the exceptional performance of Governor Douye Diri.
He said: “On behalf of the Friends of Senator Douye Diri, I congratulate Mr. Daniel Alabrah, the Chief Press Secretary to our amiable Governor of Bayelsa State, who is a recipient of the Outstanding Media Personality Award at the Bayelsa Media Awards held on Thursday, June 22, 2023.
“As a group, we have observed Mr. Alabrah’s dedication, hard work and commitment to his job.
“We have equally noted the professionalism he has brought to bear in portraying the governor and the state government’s activities.
“We commend the organisers for recognising and bestowing this well-deserved honour on Alabrah.
“It is our expectation that this would spur him to do more on his job and for the state.”
The group prayed God to continue to strengthen and grant him wisdom to carry out his duties at all times.
