PFN 17th National Biennial Conference: Wale Oke, Adeboye, Oyedepo, Ibiyeomie others to grace event in Bayelsa
The National President of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria, PFN, Bishop Wale Oke, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, Bishop David Oyedepo, Pastor David Ibiyeomie and other renowned clergymen are expected to grace the 17th National Biennial Conference of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria slated in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State Capital.
The National Conference with the theme: ‘More Than Conquerors’ is to hold between the 7th – 10th of February 2023 as over 1000 delegates are billed to attend the event.
The National Vice President South-South of PFN, Apostle David Zilly Aggrey who spoke via video call while addressing press conference said the 3 day gathering of the Pentecostal fathers of Faith and other ministers of the Gospel will usher in spiritual, economic and social benefits to the Christian community and Bayelsans at large.
Apostle Aggrey noted that the biennial delegate conference is coming at the time as the nation prepares towards 2023 general election, adding that this period calls for prayers in order to have rancour free polls.
He said the conference will serve as a platform to promote Christian unity in line with the ideals of the Pentecostal fathers as well as rekindle the Pentecostal fire as many souls will be saved, there will be baptizing of the Holy Ghost and enhanced church growth.
The South – South Vice President of the PFN emphasize the need for political leaders, tradition rulers, religious leaders and all communities in Bayelsa State and to mobilize the people to take advantage of the upcoming conference.
Also speaking, chairman of the Pentecostal fellowship of Nigeria, PFN Bayelsa chapter, Pastor (Dr.) Sam Seth Eyedoude said Bayelsa hosting the 37th national biennial conference is Divine as he noted that the National President of PFN, Bishop Wale Oke, while meditating, God revealed that Bayelsa should be the host and was subsequently approved by the NEC of PFN.
Eyedoude further said the national delegate conference is nondenominational, stating that the Christian family in the state expected to be partakers of the goodness of God that the programme is to bring.
