The leadership and members of the Renewed Hope Agenda The Way Forward (RHATWF) have congratulated the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Prof. Nentawe Goshwe Yilwatda, on his 58th birthday.

In a congratulatory message signed by the National Chairman and Convenor of RHATWF, Hon. Sam Alasiah Oburu, the group described Yilwatda as an “indefatigable” party leader whose emergence as APC National Chairman has brought renewed strength and direction to the ruling party.

RHATWF said Yilwatda’s leadership had, within his first year in office, contributed to the strengthening of party structures, expansion of membership and deepening of internal democracy.

The group also commended him for what it described as his commitment to party supremacy, discipline, unity and institutional strength.

According to the statement, Yilwatda’s leadership is “in full alignment” with the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, noting that the APC chairman had demonstrated loyalty to the party and emerged as a bridge-builder across political zones.

“Your emergence has been nothing short of providential. In just one year, you have redefined leadership with courage, clarity, and an unshakable commitment to Party supremacy and national progress,” the group stated.

RHATWF further described Yilwatda as a statesman whose integrity, intellect and servant-leadership continue to inspire Nigerians who believe in a stronger and greater Nigeria.

The group prayed for many more years of good health, wisdom and strength for the APC chairman, while expressing hope that his tenure would deliver greater victories for the ruling party and accelerate the implementation of the Renewed Hope agenda.

Yilwatda, who was born on August 8, 1968, assumed office as APC National Chairman in July 2025 after previously serving as Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Reduction. He is marking his 58th birthday today, August 8, 2026.

The birthday celebrations have attracted congratulatory messages from political leaders and organisations across the country, including the APC itself and the North Central Development Commission.
