Gunmen suspected to be armed robbers have shot dead a final year Physics student of the Federal University Otuoke (FUO) in Bayelsa State.
The student identified simply as Bright, was robbed and murdered in the wee hours of Wednesday morning, June 1, at his residence along Block Industry, Imiringi Road in Yenagoa.
It was gathered that the robbers broke into his apartment and in attempt to resist them, he was shot.
In a similar development, armed robbers in a Tricycle popularly called keep killed a middle aged man in the suburbs of Agudama in Yenagoa local government area..
Details are still sketchy as the time of filing this report.
The state Police command was yet to confirm the incidents .The spokesman of the command said he would confirm from the Divisional Police Officers before making a statement..
