It is no longer news and it has come to the notice of the general public that the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Bayelsa State is engaged in clandestine and widespread blackmail against the icon of democracy and former President, Dr. Goodluck Jonathan, GCFR.
The recent attempt by one Precious Odede from Yenagoa LGA to twist his jaundiced narration and cause disaffection between Dr. Jonathan and Governor Douye Diri, is most unintelligent and irresponsible.
Odede’s allegations of negative rhetorics against Dr. Jonathan over the visit of his pay master, Chief Timipre Sylva of APC were figments of his imagination.
In the article shared by Odede, he failed to state the negative rhetorics allegedly being shared by the Prosperity media aides.
The write-up is very empty and lack any substance that should warrant our response but for the unsuspecting citizens who might want to believe the lies.
If there is anyone spreading negative rhetorics against Dr. Jonathan, it is Precious Odede, and his APC gang who went to town with a fake Governorship endorsement purportedly made by the former President.
The APC and its leaders abused the opportunity availed Chief Sylva, to make the political consultation and returned the fatherly reception with an embarrassment on the social media that Dr. Jonathan purportedly endorsed Sylva. That’s desperation and a big shame!
For clarification and with every sense of purpose, at no time did any media aide under the Prosperity Administration made any post against the person of Dr. Jonathan, a very respectable leader in Bayelsa State and Nigeria.
Again, as a member of the media team, at no time did the Director-General, Government New Media team, Dr. Kola Oredipe, a seasoned media manager, directed any member to share any negative narration against Dr. Jonathan.
Odede’s statement is not only wicked but most treacherous of him to embark on a destructive journey.
It is good to place on record that Governor Douye Diri enjoys a great relationship with the former President and his family and so, no childish Precious Odede and his co-APC travelers can fuel a discord between the two leaders.
It is also clear that he embarked on this disappointing outing after his earlier failed attempt to undermine the achievements of Governor Douye Diri, in Epie/Attisa land, to which many projects of the Prosperity Government have been shared widely to members of the public.
Precious Odede, is apparently on a mission seeking a cheap popularity or might be competing for a prize as one of the most irresponsible APC youth with most concocted lies against the Prosperity Government.
All the sponsored negative articles and blackmails against Governor Douye Diri are of no impact as the second term of the Prosperity Government is assured!
