Tarabina hails Gov. Douye Diri Over Construction of Oporoma bridge, others.
The Bayelsa State Governor Senator Douye Diri has been commended for the construction of the Oporoma bridge in the Southern Ijaw Local Government Area.
The commendation was done by the chairman, Directorate of Project Monitoring and Evaluation Board, Engr. Ebiye Tarabina while on inspection of the Project.
He noted that with the award of the Landmark Project, Governor has written his name in the Indelible Sands of Time.
The Chairman who was a former member of the state House of Assembly also commended the People of the adjoining Communities for their peaceful disposition towards the project and urged them to continue in that light.
On the Bridge project he expressed satisfaction with the pace of work, while expressing Optimism that the Project would be completed on Schedule.
The Inspection Visit also took the Chairman and his entourance to the Ogu-Akaba-Ayakoro Road project and the Owuebum-Otuoke road rehabilitation project.
Engr. Tarabina was accompanied on the project inspection visit by the Secretary of the Directorate Engr. Sampson igodo and other Directorate. Niger Delta Herald reports that work has reached advanced Niger Delta Herald reports that the bridge project has reached advanced stage with eight pillars already erected at the others side of Nun River by the construction firm China Civil construction Engineering company (CCCEC).
