As part of his remarks, the Executive Secretary, #NCDMB Engr Simbi Kesiye Wabote @simbikw (FNSE) commended Grephil Int’l LTD for conceptualizing and building their Production Factory for the Manufacturing of Bolts, Nuts and related products located at KM 19, Port Harcourt/Aba Expressway, Oyigbo, Rivers State.
He noted that their factory is a welcome addition to the EOM ecosystem that the Board has been supporting over the years as part of our 10 year strategic roadmap, because it helps to strengthen the Naira and boast the Nigerian economy. In his words “the only way to improve the exchange rate of the Naira and grow our economy is to encourage in-country manufacturing.”
Wabote pledged the Board’s commitment to continue to promote Local content in Nigeria, while emphasizing the need to maintain high standards.
As he puts it “We will continue to promote local content in the Nigerian Oil and Gas Industry without compromising Global standards and best practices.”
The E.S commissioned the Grephil Int’l LTD Production Factory flanked by its Chairman/MD Prince Ezechukwu C. Gregory, his wife and other Industry stakeholders including NCDMB’s Director M&E Akintunde Adelana, GM Capacity Building, Dr Ama Ikuru among others.
Other officials of the Board in the Executive Secretary’s entourage include ES-STA/General Manager, Strategy And Transformation Projects, Engr. Abayomi Bamidele, Manager Corporate Communications, Barr. Esueme Dan Kikile, Deputy Manager/Corporate Comms/SA to ES, Mr. Victor Amabebe, John Barigha, etc.
After the commissioning the ES, Top Management and Staff of the NCDMB and other key Industry Stakeholder were conducted on a tour of Grephil’s Production Factory by officials of Grephil led by its Chairman/MD Prince Ezechukwu C. Gregory. See some of the photos from that tour.
