… Begins Aggressive Sensitization Tour Of States

Ahead of the 2023 Preidential and National Assembly elections, more pressure groups have continued to advocate for the election of former President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, with the National Coalition for Goodluck Jonathan (NACOJO) concluding plans to  embark on aggressive grassroots mobilization across the 36 States and the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.

Speaking to journalists after an enlarged executive council meeting of the body in Yenagoa yesterday National Convener of the Coalition, Mr.Munene Wilson says, the boby will release comprehensive time table next week for the inauguration of state Chapters.

National Coalition for Goodluck Jonathan, according to Wilson has come to the conclusion that  Nigeria needs a leader who is abreast with the current political and economic challenges of the country, and who is capable of providing workable solutions to the mirage of woes that are bedeviling the nation.

Fielding questions from journalists, the group said, the Coalition is among several others who are regularly holding  deep consultations with the former President to persuade him to run next year’s Presidential election.

He happed that the nation must not be handed over at this critical moment to a leader that will run experiment with its political and economic challenges.

The group pleaded with the former President to consider Nigeria above his personal interest and yield to the popular call for him to run the 2023 Presidential election on the platform of a preferred political party.

Mr.Wilson was accompanied at the briefing by the National Secretary of NACOJO, Doctor Iteimowei Major,the Director of  Organization/Legal-Barr.Ovieyi Theophilus and the Director of Media and Publicity-Mr.Ayebaitari  Easterday.
