Ingobere Pathfinder, Brought Uncommon Transformation To Akassa Kingdom~~ Bayelsa Youth Leader
Bayelsa State Director of Youths in charge of Brass Constituency three in the State’s Centre for Youth Development (BSCYD), Hon. Beleuibimo Sunday has commended the Speaker of the State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Abraham Ingobere for executing landmark projects in Akassa kingdom.
Constituency three of the Brass local government area of the State comprises the oceanic communities of Akassa kingdom.
Sunday who doubles as Managing Director/CEO of Super AllGreen Ltd, a firm driving revenue for the State Government at its Swali- ultramodern market in Yenagoa, the state capital said the lawmaker has upon successive elections into the State Assembly demonstrated the capacity to continually address the twin issues of human capital and infrastructure deficit in the kingdom through numerous completed and ongoing projects and other initiatives across the constituency.
He called on all well-meaning indigenes of the ancient kingdom and residents not to relent in giving the lawmaker the support needed to carry on what he described as ‘uncommon transformation’ in the area.
Sunday stressed that Ingobere’s successive re-elections into the state legislature since 2011 was due to his love for his people and the goodwill he enjoys from them which is reciprocated into turning in votes en masse for him during elections.
He noted that due to the legislator’s love for education, he has spent millions purchasing the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board’s(Jamb) forms from his inception into the state legislature for students of the area to gain admissions into various higher institutions within and outside the state, noting that this initiative has in the long run produced no fewer than 2000 graduates in different fields of studies for the kingdom.
The youth leader further stated that the speaker has over time extended his magnanimity to people from and outside his constituency with health challenges by footing their medication bills, saying as his follower he has been working assiduously to exemplify the attributes he has learnt from the speaker’s life style in his daily dealings as his protege.
He said: ”The Rt. Hon. Abraham Ingobere, the Speaker of the Bayelsa State House of Assembly is a blessing to humanity, especially to the Akassa kingdom. God heard the cry of the people of the ancient kingdom of Akassa and he gave him to us to wipe away our tears.
“I want to commend the Speaker for his selfless service to humanity. As his mentee, I’ve been trying all I could to examplify his life style which is full of humility, simplicity and kindness where I work as a revenue agent at the Swali ultramodern market for the State Government.
“Ingobere has continued to put smiles on the faces of our people. A visit to Akassa kingdom will surprise you. The roads criss-crossing the length and breadth of the kingdom and other infrastructural and the abundance of manpower in the kingdom courtesy of him are testaments to the Speaker’s uncommon transformation and benevolence.
“The Rt. Hon. Ingobere isn’t just a lawmaker. He’s a mentor and as his mentee, I’ve been working hard on daily basis to exemplify what I’ve learnt from him in my life endeavour.
“To satisfy his constituents, there are a times when our leader and Speaker, the Rt. Hon. Ingobere goes the extra miles to seek for legitimate funds to attend to the needs of constituents and communities of the kingdom- be it in education, health, infrastructure and others”.
The revenue agent also averred that the Bayelsa Speaker who goes by the traditional appellation, ‘Ebe-Tukpa of Akassa kingdom’ which he said means the light of Akassa was conferred the reverred chieftaincy title by the Chiefs, elders, opinion leaders and other stakeholders of the kingdom due to the unprecedented development he has brought to the area from his inception into office as a member of the State House of Assembly.
He added that: “As we speak, the Speaker’s educational initiative has produced over 2000 graduates in different disciplines across communities of the kingdom. And this has curb the manpower deficiency we used to have in the kingdom
“The 9km road stretching from Kongho through Sangana and its adjoining spurs to other communities of the kingdom speaks volumes of the Speaker’s resolve towards ameliorating the sufferings of his people. And so I like to call on our people to continue showing their usual support for the ‘Ebe-Tukpa’, the light of Akassa kingdom, High Chief Abraham Ingobere as he begins another journey to represent the kingdom in the state House of Assembly come 2027”.
