Ex-PAP Administrator Ndiomu Denies Bribery Allegations, Petitions Security Agencies
:
Former Interim Administrator of the Presidential Amnesty Programme (PAP), Major General Barry T. Ndiomu (Rtd.), has dismissed allegations that he paid money to the Chief of Staff to the President, Rt. Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila, to retain his position, describing the claims as false, malicious and without any factual basis.
In a statement, Ndiomu said the allegations being circulated on social media and other platforms were deliberately fabricated to tarnish his reputation and years of public service.
He clarified that the Presidential Amnesty Programme is an agency under the Office of the National Security Adviser (ONSA) and has no connection with the Office of the Chief of Staff to the President.
Ndiomu stated that he was duly appointed by the late President Muhammadu Buhari and served as Interim Administrator strictly within the terms and duration of his appointment.
“At no time did I engage in, authorize, or participate in any act remotely resembling the false claims being propagated by mischief-makers,” he said.
The retired military officer condemned what he described as a coordinated campaign of misinformation aimed at misleading the public, damaging his integrity and undermining his contributions to national service.
He disclosed that the matter had been reported to the relevant investigative authorities to identify those responsible for the alleged false publication and ensure they are brought to justice.
Ndiomu also urged the public, stakeholders, associates and media organisations to disregard the allegations, insisting that they were entirely fabricated and should be treated with the contempt they deserve.
