The All Progressives Congress (APC), Bayelsa State Chapter, will on Thursday, May 5, 2022, play host to the Vice President, Professor Yemi Osinbajo. Osinbajo, a presidential aspirant on the platform of the party, will be in Yenagoa to meet with members of the party in the state as part of preparations for the forthcoming party primaries scheduled for the end of May.
A statement by the State Publicity Secretary Doifie Boukoribo said that
“on arrival at the Bayelsa International Airport, Yenagoa, he will drive straight to the Secretariat of the Traditional Rulers Council to parley with members of the council. From there, he will proceed to the State Secretariat of the APC on Mbiama-Yenagoa Road for a meeting with the State Executive Committee.
:”Vice President Osinbajo will round off his visit to the state with a meeting with all National Delegates of the APC, Bayelsa State Chapter, at Golden Tulip Hotel, Government House, Yenagoa.”
The statement added that “Chairman of the party in the state, Dr. Dennis Otiotio, advises all National Delegates to be seated at the hotel by 11. 00 am.”
