The leadership of the Tinubu Media Network (TMN) has given thumb up to the All Progressives Congress (APC) for making former governor of Lagos State, Ahmed Bola Tinubu its presidential flagbearer ahead of the 2023 general elections in Nigeria.

In a statement signed by its national coordinator, Mr. Ebi Ozegbe and Publicity Secretary, Mr. John Odhe, and made available to newsmen, the group described Tinubu as the only sure way to unity and development at this critical time of Nigeria’s existence.

TMN, which has Joy Emmanuel of the Blue Print newspaper as its Vice Chairman, pointed out that given Tinubu’s surging popularity across all the six geopolitical zones in the country, coupled with his courage, wisdom and leadership experience over the years, victory was sure for the APC at the general polls.

While commending leader of the party and President of the country, Muhammadu Buhari, for steering the ship of APC and the nation at large with high sense of maturity, the media group called on Nigerians across party lines to support the candidacy of the Jagaban for a better Nigeria.

The Tinubu media network particularly commended the northern governors for supporting power shift from North to South, noting that their decision was not only patriotic but one that shows that they have the unity, peace and development of the country at heart.

The organization recalled that, prior to the APC presidential convention, it worked hard sensitizing the delegates on the need to make Tinubu flagbearer of the party if they intended to win the general presidential election.

It called on all aspirants on the platform of the APC to support the emerged candidate of the party in the spirit of sportsmanship.

“Tinubu is the best bet for Nigeria at the moment. He is a builder and unifier. He is a courageous and decisive leader. Nigerians should rally round his candidacy because he is the best amongst the candidates presented so far by the different political parties for the 2023 presidential polls,” the statement added.
