Bayelsa Project Monitoring Chairman Inspects Ongoing Projects, Urges Timely Delivery
The Chairman of the Bayelsa State Directorate for Project Monitoring and Evaluation, Engr. Ebiye Tarabina (Mcoren), on Tuesday embarked on an inspection tour of several ongoing infrastructure projects across the state.
Speaking during the tour, Engr. Tarabina urged contractors handling the various projects to sustain the momentum and ensure the timely completion of the works in line with the developmental agenda of the Prosperity Administration.
Projects inspected during the exercise include the Oporoma Bridge and Road, the Akaba–Okodi Road, as well as several other construction sites within the state.
He was accompanied on the tour by the Secretary of the Board, Engr. Sampson Igodo, alongside directors, engineers, and other technical staff of the Directorate.
The Director of Media and Publicity of the Directorate, Mr. Sambo Sataria, who was also on the inspection team, said the exercise demonstrates the government’s commitment to accountability, quality assurance, and service delivery in infrastructural development.
He added that regular monitoring ensures that projects meet the required standards and timelines, while also reinforcing the administration’s drive for transparency in governance.
