Crash Claims Three Lives, Injures Others in Delta
Three yet-to-be-identified persons have reportedly died in a crash along the Ogwashi-Uku-Kwale Road in Delta State.
Niger Delta Herald Metro gathered that crash involved a GLK Sport Utility Vehicle with number plate KUJ 326CE, and a bus with the inscription St. Philip’s Anglican Church, Asaba.
According to eyewitnesses, the GKL SUV collided with the bus and three persons died at the scene of the crash while others sustained injuries.
“The GLK SUV collided with the bus, and three persons died, others sustained serious injuries,” one of the eyewitnesses said.

Officials of the Federal Road Safety Corps were said to have stormed the scene of the crash to evacuate the corpses while the injured victims were rushed to hospital for medical attention.
It was learnt that the Deputy Governor, Monday Onyeme, while on his way to the Kwale area of the state, stopped over at the accident scene to sympathise with the victims.
The Sector Commander, one Mr Udeme, who confirmed the incident, said the crash was caused by excessive speed.
