Azikel Group and Dr Eruani Azibapu speaks on the recent publication and comments by Mr. Kariyai Dakorou, alleging several false accusations and claiming that his time while in the In-House Mentorship and Character Assessment during the Aviation Training Programme Stage 2 was a waste of time.
Azikel Group sets the record straight as follows:

2. No Employee is Wasted, Where There is Purpose: The Azikel Group maintains records of all staff engagement, responsibilities, and exit processes. If Mr. Kariyai Daukoru feels his time was wasted. It does not reflect the experience of the thousands who count Azikel as the foundation of their career.
3. Dr. Eruani’s Record Speaks: Dr. Eruani Azibapu, CFR, remains focused on building institutions that employ, empower, and export Bayelsa talent from the Azikel Refinery to Aviation Education. He does not engage in media fights with former staff.

4. Dr Eruani Azibapu , CFR, is a philanthropist with a track record spanning over the years. We don’t think our society shall be too quick to forget his benevolence during the Bayelsa State flood invasion, during which his contributions as one single donor speak volumes. His contributions to the Niger Delta University NDU are remarkable.
Dr Eruani does not believe in selling himself, a character he seriously frowns against, but because of the recent character assassination by Mr. Kariyai Daukoru, the Group, felt to give these very few noble deeds against the many he had done off the camera.
KARIYAI DAUKORU IS THE AGRRESSOR AND OFFENDER TO THE BUSINESSMAN AND PILANTROPIST DR ERAUNI AZIBAPU CFR WHO DESIRES TO TRAIN AND EMPOWER BAYELSA YOUTHS.
This detailed story is necessitated by the fraud and malicious publication and comments circulating on social media by Kariyai Daukoru containing unfounded allegations and attempt to twist and create a narrative that is both misleading, misinforming and self-framing victim for a process that he Kariyai Daukoru participated willingly, and received financial benefits during the probation, of which Kariyai Dakorou was unable to manipulate and unable to secure a final recommendation and Kariyai Dakorou resigned, when he(Kairyai Dakorou) discovered his Boss had known his many atrocious deeds.
Kariyai Dakouro lies had been paraded as truth in the public to deceive the gullible few. Kariyai Dakorou who first instituted a civil case against the Azikel Group and Dr Eruani Azibapu CFR was doing that in the hope of exploiting or compelling undue advantages to himself, these are acts of aggressor, oppressor and ungrateful and perfidious personality.
Further is the now Fake online Publication by Persons who are working with Kariyai in creating to misleading, sensationalize, public ridicule and stirup political discuss by publishing fake poster of Dr Eruani Azibapu Godbless, CFR, as a Governorship ASPIRANT.
Earlier defamatory publications by Kariyai Daukoru are now subject to court determination, and Azikel Group would not want to prejudice the evidence that is in court of competent jurisdiction.
However, the Azikel Group and Dr Eruani Azibapu CFR, are compelled to inform the public on the false claims as made by Kariyai Daukoru in his recent malicious and libellous publication.
In 2024, the Azikel Group and Dr Eruani Azibapu CFR, created a philanthropic programme to train youth from Bayelsa within the age of 25 to 35 years who have graduated from university in the science related courses and are desirous of obtaining aviation Carrier.
Applications were invited from young Bayelsa free of charge, and NO payment of any form was requested from the candidates. The programme is solely sponsored and funded by Dr Eruani Azibapu CFR and the Azikel Group.
All persons who applied were screened for qualification as the process was from the inception of a 3-stage qualification. Qualified as a person from Bayelsa with science first degree (graduates) and within the age of 25 to
35. The persons must Pass a computer base test after studying the materials that the company would provide for him or her. Admitted into the Aviation Training Programme, by commencing in-house mentorship, probation period at the Azikel Aviation Hangar and subsequently obtained the RECOMMENDATION from the expatriate supervisors for good character dedication and return to Nigeria after the training abroad.
During the in-house Aviation Hangar mentorship and character evaluation, candidates will be paid net monthly of N205,200 (two hundred and Five Thousand Two Hundred Naira Only). Upon the Candidates receiving the Recommendation, then the admission and visa process will commence for onwards travel to the United States for the oversea TRAINING.
Mr Kariyai Daukoru was one of the persons who presented himself as a graduate and selected after passing the CBT conducted on the 28th of February 2024. It is now observed in Kariyai’s publication as he claims, he was an undergraduate and was made to abandoned schooling.
This then implies that Kariyai presented deceptive documentation as a graduate to get admitted into the programme. Mr. Kariyai Daukoru was placed admitted immediately into the second phase of the programme being The Inhouse mentorship and character assessment phase of the Aviation Training Programme in the month of March 2024, with a monthly salary N205,200(Two Hundred and Five Thousand Two Hundred Naira Only).
Of course, Mr. Kariyai Daukoru has to participate in all the activities carried out in the hanger with the engineers and pilots and other staffs working in Azikel Aviation Hangar in Bayelsa and obtained the recommendation of good and dedicated character and return to Nigeria after the training abroad.
The recommendation will be required for the visa processing as well the guarantee from Dr Eruani Azibapu CFR, to the US Embassy to process the visa.
The Management received several complaints of the lack of commitment from Kariyai at the inhouse mentorship programme as Kariyia was in several times absent from the hanger, not dedicated to the training, disrespectful to his supervisors.
During that period, Kariyai was more involved in producing social media contents, while at the hanger. Not just that Kariyai was continuously insisting that he wants to travel to the United States.
Upon these several complaints, Kariyai was always cautioned and would promise to be of good behaviour thereafter, but like the leopard, he never changed. He felt his time was a waste that he should be sent abroad immediately. Really? Just like that?
As such, Mr Kariyai was unable to obtain a recommendation from the expatriate supervisors in the first 6 months of the in-house mentorship and probation.
Instead of cancelling or terminating Kariyai opportunity, the President of the Azikel Group, Dr Eruani Azibapu CFR graciously extended Kariyai probation, hoping that Kariyai would be able to secure the recommendation.
Unfortunately, Kariyai’s misconduct and misdemeanours continued, and Kariyai could still not obtain the recommendation from the expatriate supervisors after the extended probation of another 6 months.
The inability of Kariyai to obtain the recommendation from the supervisor was very concerning to Dr Eruani Azibapu CFR, who was desirous of ensuring that the candidates proceed with the training in the United States.
Not still comfortable, and the eagerness to help his own Bayelsa youth, Dr Eruani Azibapu CFR, requested from the expatriate supervisors, who then had insisted that they would not make a formal recommendation of Kariyai as his character and behaviour was unfit for training abroad.
It was Dr Eruani Azibapu CFR who requested from the Expatriate Supervisors to however commence the admission process and visa for the school abroad in the hope that before the completion of the admission process, Kariyai would be able to convince the supervisors to secure the recommendation, which is mandatory for the visa processing.
On the 26th of March 25, the expatriate supervisors commenced the admission process with OSM Aviation Academy in the United States.

Kariyai was involved in the admission process all through and when it became certain to Kariyai that the travels to the United States were certain, he then began to perfect his plans to elope upon arriving in the United States.
The Management then received very unsettling reports of how Kariya had begun to sell his properties and giving away some of his properties and telling friends and relations how he would NOT return to Nigeria upon arrival in the United States.
This information was investigated and confirmed to be true. Dr Eruani Azibapu CFR, receiving this information, decided to travel to Bayelsa to meet him Kariyai in person to confront him with his plans to elope upon arrival in the United States.
While Dr Eruani Azibapu CFR was enroute to Bayelsa to meet with Kariyai and the expatriate Superiors and others involved in the investigation, Kariyai then hurriedly and voluntarily resigned on the 1st of July 2025 and ceased immediately to continue with the programme and avoided the meeting with Dr Eruani Azibapu CFR.

It was very disappointing to Dr Eruani Azibapu CFR, who had invested time and resources and compelling the expatriate supervisors to commence the admission process even when Kariyai was unable to obtain the required recommendation.
During these 16 months, duration of in-house mentorship, character assessment, Kariyai received the sum of N3,283,200 ( Three Million Two Hundred and Eighty Three Thousand Two hundred Niara each) from Azikel Group and Dr Eruani Azibapu CFR. Sadly, as it was, Dr. Eruani took it in good fate.
Two weeks after the resignation, Kariya instituted a civil case of N1B against Dr Eruani Azibapu CFR and the Azikel Group, with unfounded claims and allegations This is now a case of Kariyai exploiting the philanthropic, goodwill, an amiable personality of Dr Eruani Azibapu CFR, who desires to train, empower, employ and create wealth for the Bayelsa YOUTHS.
Kariyai has suddenly transformed from a candidate who benefited from the philanthropy and goodwill of Dr Eruani Azibapu to now an aggressor and offender. Kariyai did not relent at his civil case but then went into false publication on all social media platforms against Dr Eruani Azibapu.
One such publication was on the 27th of July 25 in Sahara reported were Kariyai boldly Claimed He Sold His properties to Travel the United States. See the publication as attached.
This was clear evidence and admission of the fact that the selling of properties was indeed true as Kariyai plans never to return to Nigeria upon the arrival in the United States.
There was no reason for Daukoru Kariyai to sell any property during the inhouse mentorship training or overseas travel training, because Kairya was on a monthly salary and Kariya United State travel expenditures were all the responsibilities of the Azikel Group and Dr Eruani Azibapu Godbless, CFR.
While Dr Eruani Azibapu and Azikel Group are entitled to defending themselves from the aggressor Kariyai, who commenced the Civil Case in the Bayelsa High Court and will continue to their defence in court.
Kariyai now deployed another strategy of social media and online defamation and libellous publication against the person and personality of Dr. Eruani Azibapu CFR. Kariyai, in every instance, had attempted to exploit the goodwill and serenity of Dr Eruani Azibapu CFR.
The defamations publication of Kariya were read home and abroad, and that necessitate Dr Eruani Azibapu to make a report of criminal defamation against Kariaya.
The aggressor, offender, and oppressor Kariyai, who is now claiming victim, oppressed, and human rights activist, was invited to the Police and the evidence of the publication was presented to Kariya, not acting alone and hoping on public and social media oppressive publications, made no remorse to the defamatory publication he made and insisted that the matter should be charged to court. The facts are now before our competent courts of jurisdiction to dephicer who is exploiting the other.
Dr Eruani Azibapu CFR is focused and committed on the new industrialization, job creation, and sustainable wealth creation.
Dr Eruani Azibapu CFR will not be deterred from the continuous empowerment of Bayelsa Youths who are dedicated, committed, faithful, and desire economic and social liberation. It is however very sad the that the same persons you intend to empower are the same ones who are misaligning, misinforming, stirring negative narrative, perception and hatred on genuine and good endeavours intended to liberate the Youth from the shackles of poverty.
Dr Eruani Azibapu CFR is not a political leader neither is the Azikel Group an arm of Bayelsa State Government.
The efforts advanced by Dr Eruani Azibapu CFR and the Azikel Group are routed through a self-conviction of true industrialization, creating jobs, empowering the youths, and creating wealth.
Inspite of the good will and kind gesture from Dr Eruani Azibapu and the Azikel Group towards Kariyai Dakorou, he has continued to misalign and campaign of hatred to his benefactor. Despite all these distractions, the company will continue to defend its rights and properties and investment within the legal framework and will not allow persons of ill motives or sinister objectives to frame the personality of Dr Eruani Azibapu CFR and the Azikel Group in bad light.
It also should be noted that as part of the online media campaign of calumny to elicit public hate, stir unnecessary political tension and discuss, Kariya and his co traveller has engaged in another attempt of Fake Online Design of Poster and Publication of Dr Eruani Azibapu Governorship Ambition Posters.
These posters now been circulated in the social media are acts that are criminal in nature designed by the publisher to create misinformation, wrong narrative of Dr Eruani Azibapu desire and objective, create ridicule of Dr Eruani Azibapu Personality.
This online fake designed poster using Dr Eruani Aziapu CFR images are malicious and criminal acts of the publishers. All persons involved in this act of miss information and design of poster, acting skits with wrong narrative with intension to misalign and misrepresent the person of Dr Eruani Azipabu CFR and the Azikel Group should be cautioned as they are committing criminal offence which are tantamount to prosecution.
Such person or persons when brought before the legal system, should not begin framing of been the victim and oppressed and should know that what is being perpetrated now is already criminal in nature.
Dr Eruani Azibapu is NOT interested in contesting the governorship election of Bayelsa state, neither is Dr Eruani Azibapu CFR interested in contesting any political office or holding a political appointment of any sort.
As this full story has been told, some questions beg for answers Why was Kariyai Daukoru taking photos and videoing of himself during work hours against the policies and rules of the company? Was he nursing and planning something sinister, which the public don’t know that if he (Kariyai) eventually get terminated for misconduct he would use the pictures and videos against Dr Eruani and the Azikel Group as he is presently doing?
Kariyai claims he was suffering and taking pictures and videos of washing Helicopter, these are regular activities that the Nigerians staff and expatriate supervisors also clean the helicopters and their tools, moreso Kariyai was paid for mentorship and character evaluation.
Was Kariyai not aware it was probation period and character assessment test? All photos and videos Kariyai was taking of himself while on duty and creating social media content and evidence were all recorded on the CCTV and these were some of the reasons the expatriate supervisor refused to make the recommendation of Kariyai training to the next stage.
With what Kariyai has presented to the world in these past few days, did Kairiyai truly pass the character assessment?
Did Kariyai not sell his belongings and talk to his friends about eloping upon his arrival in the United States of America? If the answer is no, then why did he run away from Dr Eruani s invitation for personal interview on the issues of eloping and misconduct?, why did Kariyai speak to Sahara reports how he has sold his belongings to travel to the United States for the aviation training?, Why did Kariyai go to Facebook and online media to insult the Dr Eruani Azibapu, his benefactor to gain public sympathy when Kariyai was the first to sue Dr Eruani Azibapu and the Azikel Group in the High Court in Bayelsa
