The Management and Staff of Monimichelle Sports Facilities Construction Ltd, Yenagoa, have expressed deep shock and profound sadness over the passing of the Deputy Governor of Bayelsa State, His Excellency, Senator Lawrence Ewhrudjakpo.
In a statement released on Sunday by Mr. Ebi Egbe on behalf of the management, the company described the late Deputy Governor as a committed statesman, a voice of reason in governance, and a strong believer in youth empowerment and sports-driven development. The statement noted that Senator Ewhrudjakpo’s contributions to the growth and stability of Bayelsa State, particularly his support for initiatives aimed at uplifting young people through sports and infrastructure development, would be greatly missed.
The management of Monimichelle Sports extended heartfelt condolences to the Governor of Bayelsa State, Senator Douye Diri, the Ewhrudjakpo family, the Bayelsa State Government, and the people of the state over what it described as a monumental loss.
The company also prayed that Almighty God grant the soul of the late Deputy Governor eternal rest and give his family, associates, and the people of Bayelsa State the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
