The Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB), as part of its Capacity Development Initiative for media stakeholders, commenced the 2025 Media Stakeholders Tour today, 8th December 2025.

The two-day tour kicked off with a visit to Bunorr Integrated Energy Limited in Omagwa, Rivers State; an indigenous company pioneering the recycling of Used Engine Oil (UEO) into base oil and other valuable by-products. Bunorr’s operations directly advance Nigeria’s goals in energy circularity, environmental sustainability, local content development, and import substitution.

During the engagement, Bunorr’s Managing Director, Mr. Okeke, Modestus Ikechukwu, acknowledged that the company’s recent progress has been significantly driven by NCDMB’s support, oversight, and strategic partnership, noting that the Board’s backing strengthened the company’s credibility with vendors, financiers, and technical partners.

The tour team was led by Mr. Teddy Bai, Supervisor, Government Relations, NCDMB, who reaffirmed the Board’s commitment to sustaining its partnership with Bunorr and amplifying the company’s visibility. He was joined by Mr. Teleola Oyeleke, Mr. Ifeanyi Nwokoemodo, Mr. Henry Alogidi, and other supervisors and officers from the Corporate Communications Division.
